Brett Beuning

Brett Beuning is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Assistant Director of Clinical Education in the Department of Physical Therapy at Baylor University. A graduate from the Regis University Physical Therapy Program in 2006, Dr. Beuning is an ABPTS board-certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist and a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic and Manual Physical Therapists. He has spent the past five years as faculty for Baylor’s Department of Physical Therapy, teaching in the musculoskeletal and clinical education coursework. Prior to that, he practiced in variety of settings, with a focus in outpatient orthopaedics. Much of that time was spent educating and mentoring others in clinical education, residency, and fellowship programs.

In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Beuning served in faculty and program director positions for DPT clinical education and post-graduate residency and fellowship programs, developing online and clinical content for clinical internship and post-graduate programs. He also served as adjunct faculty in another DPT program for 3 years prior to his full-time role with Baylor University. He resides in Texas with his wife and three children.
