Baylor DPT Facilities

Take a Virtual Tour

The Baylor DPT facilities are located in downtown Waco. Student lab activities take place in the Texas Life Building. The spacious facility accommodates full Baylor DPT cohorts with plenty of space to spread out and move around. Stellar audio/visual technology ensures that all students can see and hear the techniques that are being presented on stage before practicing within their pods.

The Baylor DPT Student Center is also designed to hold lab activities while also serving as a special place for students to meet, hang out, and study outside of lab time. Both Texas Life and the Student Center are very dynamic spaces that utilize advanced technology and equipment, enabling them to mimic an outpatient orthopedic clinic one day and an intensive care unit (ICU) the next. The spaces can also provide an open space for exercise instruction, or anything in between.

This simulation space replicates real-world medical settings and integrates cutting-edge equipment, giving students the ability to develop hands-on skills in an immersive environment.

Baylor DPT Students can also take advantage of facilities on Baylor’s main campus which is less than 10 minutes away from the DPT facilities. The campus has frequently been recognized as one of the nation’s most beautiful, and is a great place for students to spend their free time. Students can utilize several Baylor libraries for quiet study time, and those who prefer the great outdoors will find several lovely outdoor areas to do their work. Students also enjoy utilizing the dining facilities, the student union, and exercise facilities on campus, with the latter including a climbing wall, volleyball courts, and other amenities to enable students to maintain their physical and emotional health while in Waco.
