Baylor University is built on a foundation of Christian faith.
This foundation fosters a caring community where all people are welcomed, valued, and supported.
Within this caring community, there is intentional effort to build meaningful relationships and enrich the lives of students.
Students at Baylor come from a variety of religious backgrounds and are encouraged in the integration of their faith and intellectual pursuits. Faith-based initiatives such as the Baylor DPT ministry team and prayer groups are student-led, giving students the opportunity to live out their faith. At Baylor, students are not only welcomed, but also empowered to grow, connect, contribute, and thrive regardless of their faith background. We do not impose religious beliefs, but rather encourage personal growth and development.
Physical therapy is a career that lends itself to the Christian calling to serve all people in humility and love.
Baylor DPT students are encouraged and equipped to live out that calling as they accomplish their educational goals and impact the world around them.
Join us for one of Baylor DPT's monthly webinars to hear more about what it means to be a part of Baylor's belief-based community and culture.
Christian faith is deeply integrated into the culture of Baylor DPT. Through starting Zoom classes with prayer, attending lectures on how to integrate faith into patient care, and engaging in faith-based conversations with peers and professors, my faith has continued to grow and mature at Baylor.”
