Evan Andreyo, PT, DPT, PhD

Dr. Evan Andreyo is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Baylor University. 

Dr. Andreyo earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Slippery Rock University. He completed an orthopaedic residency through the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions and is a board-certified clinical specialist in both orthopaedic and sports physical therapy. He earned a PhD in Health Sciences with a concentration in Human and Sports Performance from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions.

Dr. Andreyo’s scholarship and clinical interests focus on lower extremity injury risk and movement assessment in athletic populations. He resides in Pennsylvania with his wife and children. 

Current Research Interests

  • Athletic injury risk assessment and mitigation
  • Return-to-sport testing following ACL injury
  • Methods to enhance student learning in DPT education
